MICRO WRITING PRACTICES

MICRO WRITING PRACTICES

For me, writing in Spanish is like a bird learning how to fly because in writing process you have to take the same risk that birds  take when they taking of the land: fall down for learning and changing their life.

Taking into account my personal experience as a English learner, I think writing in that language is like a child having stomachache when he is alone, far away from his mom. when I write in English I feel I do not have enough self confidence for improving by myself.

When I write in French I feel like a little person enjoying and suffering while he/she learns how to walk. I think I feel like that because I enjoy to write in french giving little steps and at the same time I suffer for doing it in a good way.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN WRITING AND THINKING

I think writing and thinking are both processes that cannot be isolated. For example, a writer needs to think about the topic or the ideas he/she wants to express through writing before begin the process of writing. Then, he/she can write those ideas in order to communicate what he/she thinks and also in order to give physical image to his/her thoughts. So, the relationship between writing and thinking is so evident, but at the same time almost impossible to describe.

Writing and thinking, that is one of my main problems. I will like to explain it.

Sometimes I think brilliant things, like such in a deep way, but when I try to write it that feeling go away. Maybe because I have learn about been academic and how sometimes you should not present a text, or express your feelings, or something like that. Also, last semester I started to have a problem with quotations, I am going to explain it: I have this idea, I look how to support it, authors, books, etc and I found good arguments that could help me. I create the theoretical framework and start developing my ideas with the quotations, but when I get to the conclusion I feel I have nothing left to say.

I know that when you finish an academic text you make like a wrap up of everything you said, but that is all I can do, I feel like my voice is lost in all that text. That is just what I think when I write.

OUTLINE OF MY PWP

I was thinking about my topic's project, but I'm a little confused and fearful, because is the first time a have to do a writing project like this.  I don't write frequently in other languages. Actually is a challenge for me.

Sociolinguistics likes me so much, I think my project could be immersed in this discipline that is compatible with one of those topics we had choose named, languages and cultures.

I want to do a  narrative piece that involve autochthonous characters dealing different situations and anecdotes. this is that I have until now. I'm going to check other related works to improve my ideas and to give the better shape at my project.

Relationship between writing and thinking

Relationship between writing and thinking

Writing is one of the ways in which we can express our thoughts and to write is necessary think in what we want to tell or communicate. So I think that both are in some way complementary, because we can do a good text or even to have more elaborate thoughts using both.

However we can think without the necessity to write all the things that trought our mind, we write this thoughts only when we want share them with other people. While on the contrary we can't write without thinking in nothing special, because when we do that, is probably that our text will be a collection of sentence without any relation.

In conclusion, In spite of the fact that thinking is more important at the moment of write an important text or just a text (because even a romantic letter needs organized thoughts if we want to give a clear message),  Writing is optional at the moment of think in anything.

WRITING AND THINKING

All the time, many things pass for our minds, I mean, mind is so speed, because that, we can't write most of those things, Even we could write all possible time each day. My point is, that there is a long distance between writing and thinking. One of those is more speed and complex than the other. Many times we can't find words to write some things we think.

- For me, writing in English, is like to kiss an ugly girlfriend because it doesn't like me so much.

- For me, writing in Spanish, is like drink coconut juice because in this case, I'm in known field.

- For me, writing in french, is like throwing my self in a pool for the first time.
